LIUNA issued a statement following President Obama’s nomination of Tom Perez as Labor Secretary, applauding his work on behalf of labor in all sectors of society.
Terry O’Sullivan, General President of LIUNA, calls Perez a “fearless distinguished advocate for the rights and advancement of all working Americans, whether blue, pink or white collar and whether aspiring citizens, veterans, students or retirees.”
